Fundraising Pavers & Tiles
Donor incentive tiles, hand-inscribed with the names of individuals who support school, church, library an other community projects.
Clayworks donor tiles and pavers are ideal for walls and walkways, indoors or out. Each tile is made by hand and calligraphically inscribed for a warm, personal look. Tiles are high-fired for durability and frost resistance.
We offer custom options for glazing, logos, borders and for coordinating dedication plaques.

How to Begin
Contact us by e-mail or phone, and we'll be happy to discuss your project with you and provide a sample inscribed tile.
Here are some of the decisions you'll need to make early in your campaign:
wall tiles vs. pavers, and where to place your project.
Consult with your tile setter. A professional can evaluate whether an existing wall is appropriate for tile and can advise you about your site's suitability for walkways or patios if you choose pavers.
tile size and price.
you can distinguish different levels of giving through tile sizes. And because we inscribe the tiles by hand while they are still soft, we can customize major donor tiles with logo stamps, special borders and glazing.
how to collect donor names
We can post an online form for you where donors can fill in their text and purchase a tile or paver. All funds and information go directly to you. You'll be able to cut and paste your final donor list electronically rather than key in from conventional mail-in forms.

Installing Clayworks Inscribed Pavers
The most common method of installation is with dry set mortar or latex Portland cement mortar, commonly known as thin set. Tiles should be set onto a properly prepared and cured Portland cement mortar bed. It is best to lay out the tile pattern and adjust the grout lines before cementing the tiles into place.
A decision schould be made as to whether the names should be free of grout or filled in with grout. If it is decided that the inscription is to be left ungrouted, the tiles should be covered with masking tape.
